Is chiropratic care safe for the entire family?

Whether we are looking for infant care, care for pregnant women, care for persons with chronic, acute or congenital disabilities research shows that the chiropractic adjustment is safe.

Whatever the patient's need, we have a number of gentle techniques to suit your care. We don’t believe in the “one size fits all every time” adjustment. This is why Dr. Tyler will take the time before every adjustment to ask how your body is functioning and how has it felt since your last adjustment. Whether he is using his hands, an activator, or the table to adjust the main priority in our office is your comfort. If a patient is ever uncomfortable with the adjustment Dr. Tyler is happy to provide an alternative adjustment. Nothing we do in our office should hurt or make anyone feel uncomfortable. It is for that reason that Dr. Tyler strives to maintain open communication before, during and after the adjustment.

Is Chiropractic safe for my baby?

As a parent the safety of our children is always a priority. Whether  in sports or healthcare we advocate for their well being and should never be afraid of questioning their providers if any concerns exist. The nervous system of a child is more sensitive than that of an adult. Thus, kids’ adjustments are different than adult adjustments.

Chiropractic adjustments for our younger practice members are very gentle and extremely precise. Dr. Tyler uses only the tips of his fingers with the same pressure you’d use to check the ripeness of a tomato.

There is no question that chiropractic care is safe for everyone in your family.

The numbers are clear.

If you look at the malpractice statistics of chiropractors we are around $2,500 annually. If you compare this amount to the average medical doctor, who is paying over $30,000 annually, you will see there is quite the difference. Seemingly this figure should raise higher to compensate for greater risk. It stands to reason that if it was dangerous to see a chiropractor the annual malpractice amount should go up. Insurance companies set this fee. If insurance companies were reimbursing patients for improper care then they would need to raise malpractice rates across the nation for Doctors of Chiropractic. This just simply is not necessary, because chiropractic care is safe.

We begin with an Initial Exam

During your first appointment we use the advanced inSight Technology Station to locate precisely which areas of the patient's body needs our support. This, along with an extensive look into your health history, gives Dr. Tyler the opportunity to partner with you in your health journey. Dr. Tyler is trained and certified in gentle, neurologically focused ways to adjust children from infancy through their teenage years. Even so, a large percentage of our patients also include adult and geriatric patients as well.

We know that if you’re looking into chiropractic care for the first time you probably still have questions, and that’s perfect!

We would love to connect with you and address any further questions or concerns you may have.

Please email Dr. Tyler with any further questions.
