Chiropractic care focuses on the spine and the body’s nervous system as the base of our entire health. When the spinal column becomes misaligned, it can cause many complications in the rest of our bodies. Most of these complications manifest themselves in pain symptoms in the neck, back, and head.
Chiropractic adjustments relieve these symptoms by correcting the spinal column. Dr. Tyler, using state-of-the-art techniques, has years of training, expertise, and experience relieving pain and other symptoms from spinal subluxations.
Care from a trained professional can not only improve pain symptoms and general health, but can also prevent future injury and work toward achieving total health.
In addition to chiropractic care, corrective exercises can help to prevent and relieve pains caused by the spine. Proper stretching and strengthening of vital muscle groups, paired with chiropractic adjustment and spinal correction can make a world of difference for your general health.
We teach our patients “blueprint” exercises that they can perform in their own home. Proper application of these exercises can improve the effectiveness of regular chiropractic care drastically.
Spinal & Postural Screenings
There is a saying that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Your spinal health is no exception. Posture and spinal screenings by a trained and experienced chiropractor such as Dr. Tyler Perkins can help reveal important health information, unlocking the door to improved health and well-being. In order to help the Longmont community, we provide screenings at area malls, community events, health fairs and places of employment. Contact us today at (303) 651-1810 to arrange a screening at your event or workplace.
Insight Subluxation Station
We utilize a state-of-the-art system in our office that allows to actively measure and record how well a body is functioning and responding to care. This scan is performed during the initial examination and may be repeated as you progress through care.
The Insight Subluxation Station allows you and Dr. Tyler to compare your pre and post results, and view your overall progress. The machine takes three scans to assess the current stress in crucial parts of your bodies to determine your “COREscore”, a measure of the tension in your spinal nerves.
Spinal Decompression is an evolution of Traction Therapy, an age-old method of relieving spinal and neural pressures, as well as straightening and setting broken bones.
Adjustments made with Spinal Decompression won’t be necessary for every patient. They are most effective for those with severe conditions like herniated discs or degenerative disc diseases, and have proven to be a highly effective treatment for such problems.
If Spinal Decompression is a part of your care plan, you can expect to spend an additional 15-30 minutes with Dr. Tyler each appointment.
